Youth unemployment and underemployment in Ghana remain a critical challenge. Many young people lack the skills, resources, and support to start businesses or access sustainable employment opportunities. The BizBox initiative aimed to inspire and recruit 250,000 youth, particularly women and persons with disabilities, to build entrepreneurial capacity and create jobs.
We developed and executed a comprehensive communication strategy to raise awareness, engage the youth, and drive participation in the BizBox program.
We positioned the BizBox program as a platform for unemployed youth seeking solutions. The strategy highlighted the unemployment challenges and presented BizBox as the solution, encouraging youth to take action and benefit from the program.
Activities Included:
Increased awareness of the BizBox program across Ghana, driving high application rates from target demographics.
Successful engagement of youth, particularly women and PWDs, through relatable messaging and impactful storytelling.
Amplified program credibility and public trust through professionally produced documentaries and success stories.
Strengthened digital engagement and participation through targeted, informative campaigns.
